Role and Responsibilities:
As a Forest Ambassador, you'll be a vital part of our team, working to create a cleaner, more dog-friendly, and enjoyable experience for hikers and their canine companions. Your responsibilities will include:

Dog Waste Awareness: Educate hikers about the importance of cleaning up after their dogs to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our beautiful trails.

Poop Bag Distribution: Hand out eco-friendly poop bags to dog owners, making it easy for them to responsibly dispose of their pets' waste.

Trail Etiquette: Promote responsible dog behavior on the trails, such as leash use where required, minimizing noise, and respecting wildlife and other trail users.

Community Engagement: Build and strengthen our relationships with the Parks Foundation and the National Forest Foundation, fostering collaboration for the betterment of our local natural spaces.

Nevada Humane Society Advocacy: Help spread awareness about the Nevada Humane Society's mission, services, and events to those you encounter during your ambassadorial duties.
