Our Community Medicine team works to provide accessible, high-quality care for pets in our community, helping animals live healthier, happier lives through spay and neuter surgeries. Our volunteers play an essential role in making this possible!
As a volunteer providing additional/general support, you will assist the team with tasks such as monitoring animals in recovery, helping manage instruments, supporting patient flow, and assisting with moving animals when needed. This role offers a behind-the-scenes look at a busy clinical setting while helping ensure each pet receives attentive care throughout their visit.
Please note: there may be blood or other surgical-related materials present, so this opportunity is best suited for those comfortable in a clinical environment. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. When: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For questions or more information, please email volunteer@nevadahumanesociety.org. Your time and care make a direct impact on pets and families in our community!
