Want to be part of the Heels and Hounds magic this year? Join us as a dog handler and get in the middle of the action! Our H&H dog handlers will be working alongside some of our most personable dogs that are looking for their fur-ever homes. These volunteers will coordinate with staff, volunteers, and models to make sure dogs are where they need to be at all times and will help keep them happy between programs. Prior NHS dog handling experience is required.
Housekeeping:
- Volunteers for this opportunity must be 21 or older.
- If you are signing up for this opportunity, please allow ample time to park and find your way to the ballroom.
- As this is a formal event, volunteers are asked to wear business blacks at a minimum for this event. You can go above and beyond if you would like, however, please be sure to wear appropriate footwear for your volunteer task. If you have any questions about apparel, please contact us.
- Only sign up for this event if you are comfortable in large groups.
