Get in the middle of the action by assisting us during the live auction portion of our Heels and Hounds programming! On the day of, you will be given the role of spotter, runner, or recorder. Spotters will alert the auctioneer of bidders they may not have seen. Recorders will take write down the winning bid, and runners will work alongside recorders to bring the winning bid to someone that will verify the winner. Don't worry - this will all make sense at the event. But in any case, these volunteers need to be adaptable, able to run (or speed walk) across the ballroom and cannot be afraid to be loud and out there to make sure every bidder is seen!
Housekeeping:
- Volunteers for this opportunity must be 21 or older.
- Training is required for this position. Training days will be offered multiple times on April 1st and 5th. It will also be recorded for those unable to attend.
- If you are signing up for this opportunity, please allow ample time to park and find your way to the ballroom.
- Volunteers are asked to wear business blacks for this event. If you have any questions as to what this entails, please contact us.
- As this is a very public facing position, please only sign up if you are comfortable being in large groups of people and can exhibit exemplary customer service skills.
