Volunteers are needed to line the race path in the river. This is a critical part of making the race legitimate and safe. In addition, volunteers will need to stand behind the gate to ensure it does not break and ducks do not get lose. Please bring a broom or stick to aid you in getting ducks out of rocks and bushes should they get stuck. Make sure to wear appropriate clothes and shoes as you will be in the river and you will get wet.
When the race is over, River Rats will need to help gather all the ducks and remove them from the river.
